First time playing ki o rahi

 Today at school I did ki o rahi practice. I had so much fun. so there are two teams which are taniwha and ki o rahi so the taniwha had to get the ball and then hit the tupu which is a big fat bin that is covered in a leather clock that surrounds it. So for the taniwha to get a shot they have to hit the tupu but wait there's more. The ki o rahi is the one who defends the tupu. If they miss and don't hit the tupu that means the defenders can grab it and chuck the ball to the other players. So there is a space where the taniwha is not allowed to go which is the circle where the defenders of the tupu stand. So when the ball hits the defenders not the tupu that means if the ball is still in the circle that means the defenders chuck it to the other players that are out and they have to touch 10 teeth. They are the poles with the leather on them. The ki o rahi can run to touch the teeth but always the taniwha has to chase them and chase them around and around. Taniwha has to rip the tags of the people who are running. Once you touch the amount that you have done go run right in the middle and touch the circle where the tupu sits with the ki o rahi defender. so I hope you know how to play ki o rahi and try it is fun bye!!.
